Such materials are required to have high strength and elongation as well as good deep-drawn performance and surface quality, and ideal for the food packaging industry.

The division is the first enterprise to develop such foil for containers in 5052 successfully at home, which has mature process and applies for the national patent. Products are exported to Japan, etc.
